Job DescriptionJob Duties:Responsible for working with the store manager to maintain a store environment that prioritizes great customer experiences and produces desired sales and profits at minimal expenses in accordance with the objectives of Harveys. Must also serve as a role model for team members in meat-seafood department and throughout the store. Oversee day-to-day operation of the meat-seafood department. Competency in performance of all tasks and duties in the meat-seafood department.

Responsible for team member scheduling, management and development, talent management, and performance management to ensure team members are performing to their potential and developing the skills necessary for future promotion. Adhere to all company guidelines, policies and standard practices. This description is intended to outline the primary responsibilities, general nature and level of work being performed by associate assigned to this position. It is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and competencies.Requirements Job Requirements:Desire to make a tremendous positive impact on the future of Harveys.Friendly, courteous personality.Technical skills in all areas of preparation and handling of meat-seafood product in compliance with Harveys standards including ability to safely operate necessary tools and equipment.Ability to communicate and direct meat-seafood team members to achieve expected results.Ability to analyze situations, identify problems, implement solutions and meet Harveys production standards.Ability to break down and reassemble all equipment in the department for sanitation purposes.Understand and teach all required paperwork.Ability to withstand for long periods a working environment of 45°F or less.
