Sales Engineering position to cover the entire state of South Carolina. This is a home based position.
This position requires someone that is familiar with, has current experience and an established contact base calling on South Carolina Chemical and Petrochemical Process plants, Pulp & Paper, Power plants & HQ offices, A&E firms, Steel, Textile and OEMs. It would be ideal if you currently call on all these industries.

Detailed Requirements:
Extensive travel within the territory will be required. This is a partially established territory. In addition to working with a strong existing customer base, you will be expected to establish contacts with former customers and make cold calls to build the customer base even further.
You will be expected to visit the corporate home office once or twice a month for occasional staff meetings and obtain company literature as required.
Although a technical BS or other 4 year degree is desired, it is not required. Familiarity and knowledge of power house \"island\" equipment is highly desired. Experience selling engineered products is a big plus. Experience with controls, actuators and instrumentation is also a big plus. Minimum of 3 years outside selling required.
Should have experience in budgeting, setting sales goals, training skills for the customer and some marketing experience. Plant trouble shooting and service to customers also a big plus. Computer skills required are MS Word, Outlook Express, Powerpoint and Excel.
