For complete informations about this job opportunity kindly see the descriptions. Weirich Consulting Services, Inc. has an immediate need for a Emergency Planning Hazards Assessment Analyst.
Support the SRNS Nuclear & Criticality Safety (N&CSE) organization in the development of emergency preparedness documentation for various nuclear facilities at the Savannah River Site. Prepare, develop and review Emergency Planning Hazards Assessment (EPHA). This includes participating in hazards analysis meetings, and, where necessary develop accident analyses using barrier analysis (i.e., failure of engineered barrier, failure of administrative barrier or control), and performing emergency planning zone (EPZ) and emergency action level (EAL) evaluations. In the preparation of EPHAs, perform consequence assessments using the ALOHA, and HotSpot computer codes.
Ensure that the developed EPHA documentation complies with requirements. Demonstrate personal accountability for project schedules, deadlines, budgets, and the safe performance of work.
