The IVR Engineer will be responsible for the design, coding, testing, and customizable delivery of integrated web-services and self-service voice applications. He or she will be responsible for the full-life cycle including design, implementation and testing of enterprise systems including databases, CRM software, application middleware, etc. The successful candidate should have approximately 3 â€" 5 years of solid, applicable experience and a strong working knowledge of Voice IVR Technology and relational database technology. Will p erform technical tasks including data gathering, analysis, self-service and other contact center applications like as Wall-board, CTI(Soft-Phone), etc. This position will be responsible for working with current company applications to fully develop and maintain the IVR structure.
Qualifications 4+ years of development experience in Voice, IVR and Speech recognition solutions 3+ years of development experience using Java technologies (such as Tomcat, JSP, Servlets, etc.), including JavaScript, XML and web services Sun Solaris & Unix administration experience. Strong working knowledge and experience with relational database technology: SQL, JDBC, ODBC or Oracle Strong working knowledge and experience in Voice IVR technology (such as Voice XML, Speech recognition) Demonstrated knowledge in working with Voice XML platforms such as AVAYA VP The successful candidate will have demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, changing work environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are a must. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends Foreign Language Skills â€" highly desirable While the company would like to target a local candidate, tey will consider assisting with relocation (perhaps a small lump sum?) for the right candidate. Also, while the target salary is 85K, they may flex on that as well.
