Job Description:
RMS is seeking a high-energy, active, team-oriented, and qualified professional for the Warehouse Operations Manager position. The Operations Manager will lead a group of 30-50 team members within a fast-paced warehouse in Lexington, SC.
Job Duties:
Achieve Human Resources objectives by possessing the ability to recruit, select, orient, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel, and discipline team members; motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork to ensure set productivity targets are met; communicate job expectations; monitor job performance and progress; develop, implement, enforce, and evaluate policies and procedures.
Ability to react to staffing issues of a 24/7 operatio! n.
Achieve operational objectives by contributing inf! ormation and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing and maintaining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends.
Meet financial objectives by managing an annual budget and reducing expenditures; review financial statements, sales, and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
Develop warehouse operations systems by determining future capacity requirements; maintaining stock control systems; processing orders.
Carry out responsibilities for the use of automated and computerized systems.
Develop warehouse operations system improvements by analyzing workflow and implementing changes.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; compl! ying with legal regulations.
Accomplish warehouse operations by communicating with other departments, staff groups, and customers daily; daily team leader briefing; maintain customer relationships by face-to-face, telephone, email, and fax communication.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organizations.

Qualifications:
1-3 years of warehouse experience; supervisory experience preferred
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent; some college preferred
Computer literate; familiarity with Microsoft Office products
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Ability to communicate ! clearly and concisely to individuals from various backgrounds
Must ! be able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
Must pass background check and hair follicle drug screen
Must have valid Driver’s License and dependable transportation
