A full-time permanent positio! n is available at Piedmont Technical College for the Director of the Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Technology Program. This program is accredited through JRC-CVT and CAAHEP. The program director must be responsible for program effectiveness, including outcomes, organization, administration, continuous review, planning and development. The Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program director must assure achievement of the program's goals and outcomes, and is responsible for all aspects of the program, including teaching courses. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a Health Science discipline, or associate's degree in Health Science discipline and demonstrated competencies. Must also have two (2) years of progressively responsible related work/teaching experience and RDCS, RCS, or ARDMS certified. Five (5) years' experience specific to adult cardiac sonography preferred. Candidate must possess a current license to practice in the state of South Carolina. St! rong communication skills are essential. Strong computer skill! s to include but not limited to Word and Outlook. Preferred qualifications include a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution, previous teaching experience in a community college, and experience with online learning. Position will be open until a top candidate is selected.
