Summary:

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Retail Concepts and Services, this role will lead the development of small format retail concepts for Greater China. This includes setting the strategy, driving concept-specific service and experiences development, and working with cross-functions and global teams to pilot proof-of-concept successfully. As such, we are looking for a consumer-obsessed leader with proven track record in strategic thinking, vision setting and cross-functional project management. He/she should have experience in strategy, marketing, or merchandising. He/she will be passionate about the future of new retail and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to create the future of retail together.
Job Description:
  • Develop Nike GC Retail Concept Strategy for small formats in close collaboration with global teams and drive concept evolution to support GC marketplace transformation
  • Land small-format concept strategy thru spearheading new retail concept innovation projects and leading problem-solving and x-functional alignment
  • Lead x-functional proof-of-concept for continuous small format concept evolvement and local adaptions

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree+ holder with minimum 7-10 years relevant work experience.
  • Strong critical thinking capability with experience in strategy, marketing or merchandising. Experience in retail industry is a plus.
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills across a matrixed organization, particularly with experience in leading complex, cross-functional teams
  • Passion to shape the future of retail
  • Fluent English and Mandarin is a must
