We invite you to join the RadNet Radiology team as an Insurance Verification Representative.
The Insurance Verification Representative is responsible for obtaining authorizations for all required exams and document approvals. The person in this position is responsible for obtaining information on the patient's eligibility status with the insurance companies to ensure proper coverage and payment for services. The person in this position works closely with insurance providers and referring physicians' staff to obtain necessary patient history and notes in order to expedite processing.

Location: RemoteSchedule:Monday-Friday, Day Schedule; Position Start Date: 7/10/2023
Must be available to complete 2-4 week training; 8AM-430PM (EST.)
As an Insurance Verification Representative you will have the opportunity to:
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the RIS system for each patient, according to established standards.
- Utilize telephone voice response systems and website solutions to obtain information on patients' eligibility status with insurance companies.
- Work with patients to obtain complete and correct insurance information, discusses eligibility results and alternative payment methods.
- Properly analyze various payor eligibility responses to find the information needed to complete verifications.
- Obtain and confirm insurance pre-authorizations when necessary.
- Follow all HIPAA, compliance, privacy and confidentiality standards.
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Communicate with vendors, patients, referring physicians, co-workers and all team members in a courteous and professional manner.
- Maintain insurance verification log of accounts/procedures verified.
- Contact insurance providers via email or phone to review status of authorizations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:- High School Diploma/GED
- Related experience
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent customer service skills
- Great communication skills (bilingual preferred)
- Medical terminology knowledge
- Previous call center experience preferred
- Recent medical/radiology office work experience is also highly preferred
Pay Range:
$15.30 - $22.95 / hour
