To plan and carry out the management and oversight of all aspects of the sales function for a defined region of Navigator Group Purcha! sing. Included in the overall accountability of this position is the development and achievement of annual business plans and budgets; leadership, coaching , developing and management of the National Account Managers(NAMs), Regional Account Representatives (RARs) and indirect management of Personal Account Representatives (PARS) to be located at MHA NJ offices. Provide thought leadership in the strategic planning and tactical implementation of new value-added services to Navigator members and corporate initiatives.
Essential Job Functions:
Manage National Account Managers, Regional Account Representatives and indirectly manage Personal Account Representatives to collectively plan and carry out sales and service opportunities within Navigator to hit all targeted growth plans
Manage and maintain selected national and regional strategically important accounts.
Manage, coach and develop the sales team.
Support Navigator management ! team in its role with strategic third party relationships/part! nerships that assist in additional business development.
Act as networking liaison with all other MHA divisions following thru on all LTC leads that represent Navigator opportunities.
Communicate issues regarding pricing, competition, and healthcare transactions to Navigatorâs executive management from either internal or external sources.
Support and assist in the development and roll out of a client management reporting tool, (sales force.com).
Attend National and State healthcare trade shows, in addition to preparation of trade show calendar.
Job Skill Set:
10+ yearsâ experience in sales and sales management, including 5-7 years direct sales experience with emphasis on major accounts, and experience managing an outside sales team preferably in health care, food distribution, or medical products industries.
Ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints.
Proven ability to manage and grow region revenue
Strong leadership skills in coaching and developing sales people to achieve goals and their potential.
Strong analytical and strategic thought leadership skills with the ability to plan and execute at the tactical level.
Superb communications (written and oral) and interpersonal skills required.
Ability to manage teams, develop consensus and collaboration across multiple, cross-functional teams.
Candidate must be result driven, possess insight and ability to provide direction and innovation to daily responsibilities.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and client-server, web-based applications capabilities.
Education Requirements:
Degree in one of the following disciplines: BS/ Business / RD or Nursing Home Administrator license.
