A Bachelors degree in accounting is required for this position. Successful candidates will have ! previous experience creating a large number of journal entries each month and have experience with allocations. Responsibilities: Process all fixed asset additions and retirements Conduct timely and accurate closing of the fixed asset system and preparation of reconciliation work papersAssist with the monthly general ledger closing process by creating, keying and posting journal entriesPrepare quarterly depreciation budgets and assist with developing depreciation projections for future yearsPrepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliationsPrepare monthly bank account reconciliationsResearching and responding to inquiries from internal users
