I.
Safety:
1. Understand the safety risks associated with job.
2. Comply with all safety rules, procedures, and work practices.
3. Report all safety incidents and near misses.

5. Understand and participate in the Friends Helping Friends Program.
II.
Environmental:
1. Understand the aspects of the job that impact the environment.
2. Comply with all envi! ronmental rules, procedures, and work practices.
3. R! eport all environmental incidents and near misses.
4. Has read and understands the Safety, Health and Environmental Policy
5. Responds to Spills and Environmental issues.
III.
Quality:
1. Understand and comply with NQMS functions and Food Safety Compliance.
2. Comply with all USDA rules, procedures and work practices.
3. Follow all Nestle and GMP procedures.
4. Maintain confidential information on Equipment and Processes.
5. Audit Building Infrastructure and maintain.
6. Understand Pest Control System and monitor for pest harborage and intrusion.
IV
Operations:
1. Possess good mechanical skills, good troubleshooting skills, good general equipment and Building Maintenance knowledge.
Possess basic electrical skills to include troubleshooting of small HP
motors and electrical control circuits on facility and support equipment. Must be able ! to read electrical drawings and schematics for basic AC circuits.
Plan and organize work. Complete building maintenance PMs and Work Orders in a timely fashion. Initiate new and update Building Infrastructure and Food Safety PMs. Complete Infrastructure Audits. Prepare information for tracking and trending of Food Safety Work Orders and PMs.
Anticipate problems and take appropriate action.
Train on SAP and be able to write work notifications and work orders. Be able to prepare a new part stock request. Train and be able to fill out a parts Purchase Requisition.
Possess skills in plumbing and small equipment maintenance. Keep bathroom and cafeteria equipment operational.
Understand and maintain the Fire system in compliance with NFPA standards.
Have and demonstrate the capability to do minor professional pipe and valve insulation repairs.
Be able to work with contractors.
Hang signs, boards, banners, etc! .
Capable of working with little or no supervision.
E! nsure that repairs are performed in a cost-conscious manner.
Communicate with various levels of supervision in all departments.
Ability to maneuver and work in confined spaces, extreme heat, cold, heights and interstitial spaces.
Train and certify to operate fork trucks and all in house lifts
Train and participate in the Gaffney HazMat Team.
Cross train in Facilities and WWTP Processes. Study and sit for CIRO, Boiler Specialist Level 1 and WWTP level D License within forty eight (48) months of start date.
Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications
Education:
High School graduate or GED. Some verifiable technical training
Experience:
Possess good mechanical skills, troubleshooting skills & general maintenance knowledge. Ability to plan & organize work; capable of working with little or no supervision and ability to communicate with various levels of ! supervision
