With the expert leadership and guidance of the Community Leader, the community achieves financial success in numbers, as well as by providin! g homes to residents and support to the associates. This position works under the direction of the Area Leader or Senior Community Leader.
The responsibilities of this position are both numerous and rewarding. Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to supervising the community staff, resolving resident issues, establishing and monitoring the community budget and regularly inspecting the apartment homes/community. This also includes achieving the financial and operational goals of MAA and of the Region. The Community Leader is a challenging and rewarding position.
MAA provides all newly hired Community Leaders with training at the corporate offices to ensure every opportunity for success. All MAA associates must successfully clear a background investigation to include but may not be limited to: criminal background check, pre-employment drug screening and an and employment verification. Weekend and after hours work may be required.

Flexibility to adapt to a varied work schedule, including weekends, after hours and some holidays as required.
Valid driver's license required.
Required Experience
High school education or higher. Bachelor's degree and/or CAM are a plus.
Three years property management work experience for communities with 280 apartment homes to 439 apartment homes.
Experienced in Customer Service, Marketing and Sales.
Computer experience-Word/Excel, MRI or equivalent.
