Continental Engines is a leading distributor throughout the Southeast for Power Equipment Engines, Industrial Engines, Generators and Pumps. We are currently seeking to add to our knowle! dgable sales department.
This position requires parts knowledge of gas and diesel engines. Applicants must be able to look up and identify parts and should have prior experience in lawn and garden industry, industrial engine shop or gas/diesel engine distributor. The customer service position involves assisting dealers and home owners with parts look up and identifying their needs. Our goal is to create a friendly relationship wtih our customers, providing excellent service while supplying superior quality products in a timely manner.
Position will be responsible for:
Qualifying prospective customers
Maintain current customer base
Follow up with active and inactive customers
Research customer needs, present product information and closing sales
Assist walk in customers
Service incoming calls from area customers
Process sales orders and cash transactions
Process phone and fax orders
Identify and look up parts requirement for customers
Some overtime hours possible
Skills Required:
Engine knowledge and previous experience
Excellent verbal and written communication
