The front line supervisor is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day efforts of an assigned team of production employees, performing specified tasks to ensure that contractual obligations for quality and time service are met. Production responsibilities may include, but not be limited to, quality control, data entry and other related functions and may include direct interaction with the client an! d project reporting.

Essential Functions/Responsibili! ties

  • Effectively manage daily production of assigned team of employees through assigning and monitoring appropriate work assignments, reviewing reports, resolving escalations and managing communication with other teams and management.
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs, contractual and project-specific time service and quality requirements.
  • Interview, hire and provide training to employees and temporary staff.
  • Manage employee performance through adherence to corporate human resources requirements, documenting employee productivity against established standards, holding routine one-on-one meetings with employees and appropriate use of disciplinary procedures.
  • Analyze employee performance to monitor efficiency/productivity and to identify proactive opportunities for improvement and development.
  • Complete regular management reports, summarizing production activities and trends, service level standards (and issues/opportunitie! s) and budget considerations.
  • Partner with other internal, remote management and teams to accomplish production targets and goals.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance service levels and team performance.
  • Lead and/or complete special projects as assigned by management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience

  • One year experience in a supervisory role within a mortgage or banking environment
  • One plus year of mortgage servicing industry experience
  • One to three years business/operations experience in a production environment
Knowledge/Skills

  • Strong interpersonal communication, presentation and facilitation skills (written, verbal, public speaking/teaching/training, interpersonal, listening)
  • Outstanding team leadership/supervisory skills with highly collaborative approach
  • P! ositive attitude in handling challenging situations
  • Good prior! itization, planning, project management, problem-solving and implementation skills showing initiative and follow through
  • Ability to conduct/interact professionally and effectively at multiple levels within the organization
  • Ability to deliver complex concepts through easy to understand verbal and written communication
  • Proven reliability and dependability in attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to independently prioritize workload, adjust to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Experience utilizing different tools and reporting models to analyze, report and communicate results to all levels within an organization
