The Manufacturing Engineer II provides electromechanical assembly manufacturing process support to the organization. Position reports to the Manufacturing Engine! ering Manager.

Responsibilities:

• ! Design, implement & streamline manufacturing processes, equipment and procedures
• Assist with continuous improvement Six-Sigma activities
• Assist in plant layout changes to improve flow & minimize waste
• Apply knowledge of standard concepts, practices & procedures within mechanical engineering/design field
• Rely on experience & judgment to plan/accomplish goals
• Certain degree of creativity & latitude is required
• May provide information to others & appropriately shares information & knowledge to achieve desired goals

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• Minimum of 4 years manufacturing engineering experience
• Background in electronics manufacturing, cable/wire harness & complex assembly
• Working knowledge of MS Office
• Working knowledge of Lean Six-Sigma (6S)
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be abl! e to handle quick-turn & repeat programs

Preferences:

• Knowledge of IPC, J-STD, MIL & DOD stds
