Akima Global Services, LLC (AGS), works in partnership with customers to analyze processes, identify potential ! areas for automation, and implement appropriate technology solutions that enable customer organizations to reach their goals and accomplish their missions. AGS specializes in administrative services, information technology (IT) system integration, records digitization, change management support, and training services associated with such programs.
USAF Human Resource Multiple Personnel Functions Site Lead will be dedicated to overseeing a contractor team providing Human Resources/Multiple Personnel Functions to commanders and appropriated employees, Air Force members, their family members, and retirees.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Verification of Identity and eligibility for Active Duty, Dependent, and Retiree ID card requests through DEERS/RAPIDS inquiry and preparation of DD Form 1172
- Reestablish Personal Identification Number (PIN) on Common Access Cards when locked or forgotten
- Issue and retrieve Common ! Access Cards, Passport and visas
- Personnel records, a! ctions and automations
- Transition and retirement services
- Personnel management actions
- Deployment and redeployment actions
- Process SGLI/FSGLI, Service memberâs Group Life Insurance election
- Brief customers on personnel programs and ensure compliance with personnel policies, directives, and procedures by responding to inquiries and making referrals to other agencies. Programs may include: Dress and Appearance, Military/Special Leave/TDY Authority, Family Care, Fund Raising, and Voting Assistance programs
- Updating the personnel data system with current award and decorations data and process entitlements to prior awards and decorations and alleviate discrepancies
- Perform transaction register actions, input requests and suspenses, receive and distribute RIP, MILPDS Products, and DISCOVERER products
Education
- High school diploma or GED.
- College work or a! ssociates degree a plus.
- Prior USAF military experience as a 33S4, 33S3, 36M3, 3S071 or 3A071 AFSCs may be substituted for education.
- Applicants must possess strong customer service skills and knowledge of USAF and ACC personnel policies and procedures to successfully respond and assist customers on a myriad of personnel programs
- Strong organizational skills, ability to communicate well in spoken and written English language, and have proven experience in customer service.
- Possess strong initiative and respond to a wide range of additional duties
- Knowledge of U.S. Air Force Personnel Instructions, Manuals and Systems is a strong plus. Prior USAF experience is an advantage.
- Possess strong experience and knowledge using MS Windows operating environment and applications.
