The Greenville office of Jacobs Engineering is hiring an entry level Estimate Technician to join their team. The Project Controls team e stimates labor and material costs of production and engineering in re! sponse to Request for Proposal data submitted by prospective customers.
T he technician will be involved in:
Set up and maintain electrical and hardcopy files, archiving files, maintaining supplies Arrange meetings and conferences Update Basis of Estimated Cost documents & Estimate Plan documents Assist in updating master estimating templates and database pricing updates Assist in preparation of review documents, assist with estimate input Maintaining weekly workload schedule for issues Assisting with client driven specific request outside of the Jacobs standard estimate output Training and Experience Entry level, BA or BS or related experience Working knowledge of PC’s, Microsoft Word, Excel and Access software
