Basic Functions: Position is responsible for providing nursing service to patients in a professional and courteous manner. Carries out Physician orders including but not limited to assisti! ng with procedures, administering injections, performing phlebotomy, taking patient calls, cleaning and stocking exam rooms, calling in prescriptions, coordinating supply levels, pre-certifying patients medical services, and assisting the physician with all other patient care as requested. Urgent Care setting. Minimum Qualifications: Currently licensed by the South Carolina State Board of Nursing ACLS certification: required within one (1) year of hire date Certification in CPR 2+ years in an outpatient / Urgent Care setting Preferred Qualifications: Medical Terminology General knowledge or medical ethics and confidentiality Basic first aid knowledge and current CPR certification
