Description: Cooper Standard is hiring Supervisor, Production - II (3rd Shift) right now, this job will be placed in South Carolina. Supervises production employees in a designated area and is responsible for the maintenance of good employee relations together with discipline, safety and g! eneral supervision of employees. Position is accountable for specified quantity, quality and cost of product within material specifications and labor standards. Position typically reports to General Supervisor.
Qualifications
Two year Associate/Vocational Certification with 2+ years experience in a leadership role in a manufacturing environment and/or high school graduate with 3+ years experience in a leadership role in a manufacturing environment.
Possess a good grasp of manufacturing activities including quality control, process control, leadership, and communication skills.
Possess strong communications skills and the ability to effectively interface with all levels of hourly and management.
A minimum of three years previous supervisory and/or team leader experience with a strong growth pattern in a manufacturing environment is required as well as strong problem solving skills, self-motivated and dependable.
Kaizen an! d statistical process control capability a plus.
Poss! ess a good grasp of manufacturing activities including quality control, process control, labor relations, and leadership and communication skills.
