YOUR ROLE WITH THE COMPANY
This is an opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with strong CNC machining experience. The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for:
Design of machining processes
Selection of tooling, feeds, and speeds; fixture conceptualization, and creation of process documentation (e.g. operation sheets)
Esti! mate machining process times to support competitive bidding, s! ource capital equipment, and industrialize new products
The Manufacturing Eng. will industrialize new & existing products, identify new manufacturing technologies appropriate to support lead time & cost reductions, & support the Lean & Continuous Improvement initiatives. COMMUNITY INFORMATION

BACKGROUND PROFILE
BS Degree in Mechanical or Manufactu! ring Engineering preferred, (will consider highly experienced non- degreed candidates)
Experience designing processes for CNC Mills (horizontal and vertical) (7 years minimum)
Proficient with AutoCAD, ProE, or SolidWorks
Ability to design Fixtures, and to specify tooling, speeds, and feeds
Creation of Operation Sheets
Ability to design work holding and gauging
Good written and verbal communication
ADDITIONAL BACKGROUND â€" PLUSES
Experience implementing processes with robotics and PLCs
CAM Experience
Project Management Education and Qualification
Looking for people who are dealling with at least a 100 part process / precision machining.
Candidates from the automotive sector should have worked in manufacturer of gears, parts for transmissions or parts for engines.
