Work Schedule:
- Rotating 12-hour shifts. (36 hours one week, 48 hours the following week)
- Average full-time work schedule of 14 days per month!
- Rotating shift schedule requires employee to work at! least 50% of weekends
- Schedule is subject to modification as production needs dictate
- Identify and segregate yarn quality grades
- Perform general and detailed housekeeping responsibilities within operational areas
- Transport production materials from one location to another with forklift and/or related equipment
- Prioritize multiple tasks, adapt to change well and be resourceful in problem solving on a routine basis
- Take corrective actions per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Ability to work with minimal supervisory guidance and function in a team environment
- Think critically and resolve problems
- Read and properly apply procedures and perform quality checks
- High School diploma or GED
- Prior experience working and functioning in a team environment
- Applica! nts will be tested using the ACT WorkKeys examination process and must score at the required entry level for Locating Information(required score- 3 and Observation(required score-3).
- Physical Requirements and Working Conditions (Ability to perform these requirements with/or without accommodation):
- Lifting over 50 pounds required for some positions
- Standing, stooping, squatting and bending often
- Some areas have equipment that operates at high temperature and noise levels. Therefore, appropriate protective equipment will be provided and must be properly worn
- Previous manufacturing or related experience
- Two year degree in a technical or related field
- Experience with computer applications such as Word,Excel, and SAP
- Previous experience troubleshooting in a manufacturing setting
