Established and growing company located in the beautiful upstate of SC has an opportunity for a Production Technician to work on the 2nd shift in to do setup, ad! just and verify programming regarding CNC machining equipment. Will be involved with diagnosis of operating difficulties and make adjustments that are appropriate to realign machine, adjust offsets, change tooling and recalibrate limits and repair tooling malfunctions that are minor. Will also report errors in operations and programming.
at least 3 - 5 years experience doing machine shop work to include CNC equipment
knowledge needed of machine operation mechanics, programming, manufacturing procedures and engineering specifications
experience with tooling, CNC troubleshooting , hydraulics, pneumatics and PLCs
must be able to read and interpret machining drawings
need proficiency in the use of calipers, micrometers, surface gauges, verniers, Go/NOGO gauges and indicators
must be open to working 2nd shift
