Duties likely will encompass supply chain development and evaluation, delivery and price negotiations, value analysis, cost reduction, purchasing information systems in a lean culture.
Requirements:
BSME or BSIE
at least 7 years experience working in a manufacturing setting
demonstration of success measurements in the area of purchasing and specifying of some of the following castings, capital equipment, machined components, stampings, tooling, finishing
lean manufacturing knowledge
very good communication skills
experience with value analysis, price negotiations, supply chain development and evaluation, purchasing information systems and delivery negotiations
