Our Default Servicing Team: Respectfully engages, understands and advises consumer real estate customers of available solutions to resolve mortgage delinquencies
Responsible for performing a variety of loan servicing tasks. Functions include: reviewing loan disbursement requests; processing disbursements; preparing loan demands and reconveyances; maintaining loan and disbursement files; responding to routine customer inquiries; coding and renewal processing; preparing and submitting documents, data and records according to department procedures and government regulations; handling payments for hazard insurance premiums, property taxes and other special transactions.
Basic Qualifications
6+ months administrative experience or interacting with customers/people.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1 year experience in mortgage loan origination, tel! esales, collections, default servicing, customer service or loss mitigation.
- Experience building relationships/rapport with customers.
- Ability to prioritize and maintain a large volume of work.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to a fast paced and changing business environment.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Working Knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with disgruntled customers and/or taking escalated calls.
- Strong computer/data entry skills.
