Provides outpatient therapeutic interventions to children, adolescents and their families in Colleton County; ensures that all documentation is in accordance with Quality Assurance guidelines; provides case coordination and liason activites with schools, agencies and other community programs on behalf of the consumer; provides crisis intervention for consumers and Colleton County area population; maintains center productivity requirements for providing clinical services; is conversant with and complies with all Corporate Compliance requirements.
Minimum and Additional Requirements:
Coastal Empire CMHC is an approved site of the National Health Service Corps (NHSC), which offers student loan repayment of up to $60,000 to employees of NHSC-approved sites. You must be a US citizen, you must be licensed to practice in the state where you are hired, and you must have unpaid government or commercial school loans.! There is a two year service commitment required as well.

Master’s degree in a social science field and 2 years of experience in a clinical counseling program.
Thorough knowledge of counseling theory, particularly in the field of families, children and adolescents is needed. Employee should possess these skills from on the job experience and training.
Preferred Qualifications:
Spanish as a second language is highly desirable.
