Location: Columbia South Carolina

Description: BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina is looking of Mail Inserter Operator I right now, this vacancy will be placed in South Carolina. Responsible for operating high-speed, file-based integrity production mail inserters and other print/mailing equipment to meet the company’s required contractual obligations! related to mailing first-class correspondence, statements, checks, etc.

Exposure to noise, dust and heat oil fumes. Usually one element is constantly disagreeable.

Able to lift or move 50 pounds during work day.

Remains standing, in continuous motion, all day.

Work hours are Monday through Friday 12:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Required Education

High school diploma or equivalent. Required Work Experience

Two years of experience in a business environment.

One year of experience in a mail production environment. Required Skills and Abilities

Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Basic knowledge of postal regulations as they relate to discount mail or ability to acquire such knowledge.

Ability to work efficiently as a member of a cohesive team.

Customer service skills.

Analytica! l or critical-thinking skills.

Good judgment.
Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.

Ability to use personal computer in a Windows operating environment.

Knowledge of Word or other word processing software.

Ability to understand various software applications of mail areas.

Knowledge of inserter machines, trim winders and compressors.

Ability to become Pitney Bowes Operator Certified within 90 days of hire. Work City Columbia Work State SC
