We currently have an opening for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Human Resources Intern for the Spring term of 2014 at our Fort Mill, SC location.
The HR Intern will:
- Create, evaluate, and revise all job descriptions utilizing observation, interview, questionnaire, and work sampling job analysis methods.
- Evaluate and make recommendations on monthly reports/metrics (leading and lagging) for the site and department (e.g., headcount, FMLA, absence reporting)
- Revitalize New Hire Orientation, present HR & general site information at NHO and process new hire information.
- Design electronic and print quarterly newsletter template.
- Must be able to work 20 hours a week
- Pursuing a Bachelorâs degree in Human Resources or related disci! plines at the Junior or Senior level
- 3.0 or higher GP! A
- Facilitating, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Experience using various computer applications including Microsoft Excel, Access and other applications included in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic knowledge of state and federal employment laws, EEO & OFCCP compliance, OSHA, FMLA, and etc.
