More complete informations about this vacancy opportunity kindly read the description below. First Line Manager Position for 787 Charleston Final Assembly Manufacturing. Potential assignments leading teams in structures, systems, functional-test, in tank, seal, interiors, and ele! ctrical tasks on any shifts. Will report directly to Shop General Managers. Assigned to lead teams tasked with assembly and or test of sections or completed aircraft. Responsibilities include ensuring the quality of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, structural, seal, interior and rigging installations, including functional tests.
Development of team leaders, implementation of lean manufacturing and Employee Engagement. Responsible for Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Morale of work group against program commitments. Three (3) years of leadership experience required. Prefer experience with 787 manufacturing, assembly and/or test processes, systems, policy and procedures. Candidate should have a history of proven successes to drive quality, productivity improvements in a team based environment. Must be able to work strategic and tactical plans and execution. Global thinker - understands cultural differences and drives diversity in creative solutions. Comfortable working with all management levels. Possess excellent communication and listening skills. Must be willing and able to work any shift. All employees will be on the Boeing South Carolina benefit structure.
