Educator is responsible for facilitating all departmental educational requirements and growth opportunities including but not limited to: annual competencies; new employee departmental orientation; physician, vendor and other departmental educational opportunities to womens services staff. The Womens Services Educator is responsible for assisting the Director in identifying new professional growth areas, facilitating educational opportunities to address identified ne! eds and ensuring appropriate documentation is received by staf! f. The Educator is viewed as part of the Womens Services leadership team and will confer with Director when completing annual performance appraisals. The Womens Services educator is also responsible for establishing calendar for out patient education opportunities for new and expecting mothers as well as monthly lunch and learns. Bachelor's Degree Required; Master's preferred. Current South Carolina Nursing License. A minimum of five years experience in area of expertise. Current BLS, ACLS, and NPR within 3 months of hire required.
