Description: QVC is currently interviewing Instructional Designer, Human Resources (Curriculum, Project Manager, Training) right now, this career will be placed in South Carolina. Reporting to the Manager, Training & Development Design Center, the Instructional Designer will perform full-cycle development, including analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. This position will manage design-related projects in conjunction with course development and other Learning and Performance solutions. The Instructional Designer will initiate collaborative partnership with subject matter ex! perts and leaders within the organization to ensure relevant s! olutions are delivered to the organization. This position will use Adult Learning approaches and design/development methodologies to ensure products are consistent and designed to deliver measureable results.

Uses Learning and Development methodology to conduct complex needs analysis and identify root cause of performance gaps. Determines the best intervention to impact identified gap(s).

Designs and develops interventions to address a variety of identified gaps (skills-based, process, system enhancements, etc.), to include classroom, online/ELearning, self-study, experiential solutions, process/organizational improvements, etc. Incorporates clear objectives, evaluation and change management methods into all solutions provided to the business. Has the ability to use a variety of authoring tools to design solutions/products.

Independently manages Learning and Performance projects, leveraging project management skills to create time estimates, deliv! erables and implementation plans as needed to support execution of training solutions. Ability to manage multiple assignments.

Revises materials continuously as content, approaches, structures, etc., dictate. Includes performing mini-needs assessments to determine relevance and to ensure agility to maintain current interventions and experiences.

Works collaboratively with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to determine optimal business solutions; serves as a source to other Learning and Performance/Change Management staff to transfer products/solutions and/or curriculum and practices.

Ensures solutions (technical/functional or soft skills) are analyzed to determine the appropriate venues to deliver the solution, given the current and/or emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications:
Must have experience as an Instructional Designer or Curriculum Designer.

Project management experience.

Experience collaborating wit! h a variety of business leaders in order to develop comprehensive solut! ions.

Knowledge and experience in Organizational Development/Instructional Design and the application of Learning and Development methodologies.

Ability to successfully influence/advise leaders on the best design methods and solutions.

Demonstrated excellent judgment in delivering Learning and Development solutions.

Ability to apply a variety of thinking strategies to deliver the best product to the business.

Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to deliver excellent presentations.

Ability to operate independently to meet key goals and objectives.

Knowledge of MS products to include Word and Excel; knowledge of authoring tools used to design learning and development solutions.

Ability to deliver/execute training as needed.

Ability to work with people at a variety of levels.

Preferred Requirements:
Experience with authoring tools, specifically Articulate St! oryline.

Adobe Acrobat, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Macromedia Flash.

Knowledge of Change Management methods.
