Description: Nutramax Laboratories, Inc. is currently seeking to employ Social Media Technician New! right now, this position will be placed in South Carolina. The Social Media Technician is responsible for helping develop and maintaining marketing strategies through social media and special marketing projects to meet the organization’s objectives. This position will report to the Nutramax Laboratories Web Marketing Manager with a dotted line to Adam Walker, In-house Attorney, on social media initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Help define and execute a social media strategy for our social media pages
Act as a social media administrator across all company social media! platforms
Provide relevant content while tracking me! trics and monitoring relevant conversations
Become an advocate of the Company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate
Regularly share feedback and insights gained from social media monitoring with Consumer and Pet social media administrators, product managers, and Veterinary and Consumer Marketing team, to help them evolve their strategies in a timely fashion
Routinely work with internet/brick and mortar sales group to announce special offers
Expand Nutramax’s social media presence and platforms
Coordinate with corporate business units for sponsorship management, related to social marketing
Routinely coordinate/ work with IT/Web development group for integration between social media and other digital mediums
Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience:
Required Experience:
Basic knowledge and understanding of social media. Inclu! ding but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, YouTube and Instagram
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to multi-task multiple projects.
Detail oriented with proven ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams.
Must be computer literate, preferably in a Windows environment with familiarity with Web products.
Ability to think independently and must have creative writing/original thinking abilities.
Preferred Experience:
A Bachelors Degree in Business Management/Marketing or Advertising with a minimum of three (3) years experience in a marketing role.
Industry experience in the marketing of animal health, consumer health, nutritional or pharmaceutical industries desired.
Animal background is preferred, but not required.
Some travel may be required for, attending conferences and trade shows.
