Our Billings Team is seeking a technically minded & customer-focused Billing Coordinator to join our team in Auckland on a 12-month fixed term contract.

About the role
The Billing Coordinator wears two key hats - working with customers via phone and email about their Nova Energy bill queries and a second focus on reviewing data using an analytical skillset. This role requires someone who is an active problem solver, has an eye for detail, and is articulate and confident with providing great customer service.
Other key tasks:
- Complete all billing tasks daily (ensuring all critical billing functions, reports, corrections, amendments, customer calls etc are completed)
- Perform data validations to ensure accuracy of customers power readings and investigate possible price or plan errors
- Provide support and assistance to customers and help solve their queries in a timely manner
Key skills required for this role:
- Previous experience in a customer service role or administration role, with daily dealings with customers
- Confident talking on the phone to customers, be responsive to feedback and have resilience during difficult calls.
- Working knowledge of accounts receivable processes and prior experience with billing for energy or telco services is desirable.
- Comfortable to navigate Microsoft Office and open to learning new software’s and systems.
