Demonstrated cultural and political background on modern Israel
Required
Demonstrated experience in organizing academic conferences and symposia
Required
Clear and effective written and oral communication skills to convey information to individuals at various levels within the university and at other international institutions and organizations.

Demonstrated knowledge in academic research and research methodology
Required
Knowledge of the Israel Studies "ecosystem", including Israel Studies Centers and Israeli academic institutions.
Required
General knowledge of the various organizations involved with Israel-related programs, such as think tanks and advocacy groups.
Required
Basic proficiency in Hebrew language (reading and speaking)

Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools

Ability to work with frequent interruptions and changes in a busy office environment.

Skill in prioritizing assignments to complete work in a timely manner when there are: changes in workload, changes in assignment, competing requirements; and heavy workload.
