Geffen Academy at UCLA seeks a temporary Principal Learning Specialist to support students with diverse learning styles and to support teachers in their efforts to ensure all students see success in their classrooms.
Specifically, the Learning Specialist will oversee and develop the Middle School and Upper School caseload of students with learning needs. This person will work closely with the Academic Advising and Guidance Counselors and the Dean of Students team and will report to the Middle School Division Director and have a dotted line reporting relationship with the Upper School Division Director, with final jurisdiction of the Head of School. In addition, the Principal Learning Specialist will work closely with the Learning Skills Specialist and provide guidance, direction, collaboration and supervision.

An advanced degree in educational therapy, education, special education, school psychology, teaching and learning students with special needs, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
