Cana Sylmar is a Cannabis Dispensary located in the heart of Sylmar, California.
The Budtender role is a fast-paced, high-performance position responsible for communicating, selling, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a Cannabis Dispensary. The position rotates between some but not limited to the following roles from Consulting, Selling, Cash Handling, Labeling, Stocking, and maintaining a clean environment.
You will be entrusted to bring about world-class customer service that would generate loyalty and repeat patronage. Previous experience in Cannabis Dispensary work particularly in handling budtending duties, being thorough/meticulous, and staying organized is a must; while IndicaOnline POS Software, Metrc, and Weedmaps experience is greatly preferred.
You must have an open availability as the scheduling may very monthly to include days, weekend, evenings, and holidays. We are open 365 days a year.
Position Summary:
As a Budtender associate, you are responsible for managing the needs of the customers and finding the correct products, while giving top tier service. In addition, you will assist with the inventory needs. It is a position that entails specific requirements such as strict state guidelines, product knowledge, sales skills, and working well individually, or as a team.

Job Qualifications:
- Must be a California Resident with no felony convictions, successfully pass a background check and be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Must have a high school diploma.
- Previous sales or retail experience is required; Cannabis experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office and POS (cashier) systems; Experience with Indica Online and Metric is preferred.
- Must have a professional, well-groomed appearance and demeanor.
- Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time.
-Must be able to lift up to 50 lb boxes.
- Must have strong organizational and analytical abilities and advanced math skills.
- Must demonstrate both professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have reliable transportation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.78 - $18.00 per hour
