Under general supervision, researches and analyzes credit risks and credit history on moderately complex accounts in order to approve or disapprove extension of credit.
Analyzes credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money. Generates financial ratios, using computer programs, to evaluate customers' financial status. Consults with customers to resolve complaints and verify financial and credit transactions. Conducts collection calls and customer visits to collect account receivables. Resolves moderately complex credit problems but may request assistance on highly sensitive accounts. Communicates with sales and other departments regarding past-due accounts. Establishes credit limits
Requires a bachelor's degree preferably in Accounting or Finance; or related experience and a minimum 2 years credit experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other productivity software systems. Strong analytical, numeracy and research skills. Excellent communication skills. Solid negotiation and leadership skills. Excellent customer relations skills.
Requirements
Under general supervision, researches and analyzes credit risks and credit history on complex accounts in order to approve or disapprove extension of credit and in order to release orders requested by customer service for shipping.
Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money. Generate financial ratios, using computer programs, to evaluate customers’ financial status. Consult with customers to resolve complaints and verify financial and credit transactions. Conducts collection calls and customer visits. Resolves complex credit problems but may request assistance on highly sensitive accounts. Communicates with sales and other departments regarding past due accounts, and works closely with other departments to resolve customer disputes as well as deductions taken by the customer. Process credit memo requests by releasing in SAP system once they have been approved according to the Allied Limits of Authority document.
Manage US, International, and intercompany accounts in excess of $150 million in sales.
Manage and maintain the sales tax database created in Access, along with reporting data to the LII tax department.
Monthly A/R reporting and month end close
Need to be proficient in Microsoft Office and other productivity software systems.
Need to have excellent communications and customer relations skills.
