Production Shift Leader

Provides leadership and technical support to team associates in Manufacturing. Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, developing team ownership, coaching individual and team performance to ensure achieving business results and other department goals.
Coordinating team activities through day-to-day operations
Assuring compliance to cGMP’s
Monitoring productivity and capsule quality of machines in MFG
Conducting monthly safety meetings and resolving any safety issues brought forward
Tracking team attendance, cleaning, and documentation errors for shift
Ability to troubleshoot both hard gelatin machines (HGC) and Vcaps plus (VCP) HCMs
Support customer and oversight audits for colleague, document, and training compliance
Ability to generate documents and graphs in MFG applications and report to management
Conducting performance reviews and providing coaching to colleagues to reach maximum potential
Perform other duties as requested by management
Qualifications Required:
High school Diploma or GED
2 year Associate’s Degree
Must score 100 or below on the Color Test
Lift, push, pull objects up to 30 lbs
Ability to make process decisions under time constraints
Capsule manufacturing experience
Intermediate computer skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Public speaking and presentation experience
Qualifications Preferred:
5+ years experience in capsule manufacturing or a similar field
Bachelor’s of Science degree in a business or technical field
Orange Belt, Green Belt, or Black Belt certified
Ability to work with different groups and prioritize organizational needs
Experience in making quality decisions or dispositioning product
