Tri-County Technical College seeks a dynamic, service-o! riented leader who can add significant value to the institution as the College's Controller and Director of Fiscal Affairs. In addition to skills and experience needed to perform a traditional Controller's role, the College is looking for a person with demonstrated ability to implement strategic change and improve the financial sustainability of the College. This role reports directly to the Vice President for Business Affairs who will rely on the Director to provide timely, accurate, and relevant decision support to help the institution achieve its strategic objectives.

Minimum Qualifications: A bachelors degree with fifteen semester hours in accounting related courses and four years experience in related area such as accounting, auditing, banking or finance. Candidates lacking experience or verifiable competency in non-profit or higher education accounting will not be considered.

Preferred Qualifications: Preferred qualifications include pr! ofessional experience in finance and/or administrative roles o! utside of those in traditional higher education. Ideal candidates will be excellent communicators, service-oriented, have a track record of working across organizational boundaries to solve difficult problems, possess outstanding analytical skills, and be process oriented. This role requires a strategic and creative thinker who can view the institution as a business. Above all, this position requires a person of high integrity. Preferred candidates will have experience or verifiable competency in non-profit or higher education accounting.

Anticipated Hiring Range: Min: $46,169 - Mid: $65,793 (Salary commensurate with education and experience. Starting salary above midpoint is possible to max of $85,417, based on equity within the State.)
