SA! IC has a job opening for an Electronic Health Record Systems Specialist (EHRSS)/Trainer supporting our Navy and Marine Corps (NMC) Business Unit in Hanahan, near Charleston, SC.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Electronic Health Record Systems Specialist (EHRSS)/Trainer will be primarily tasked with supporting the by managing the overall functionality and efficiency of one or more military health systems and databases. Related duties will include installation, administration and maintenance of hardware and software related to the Theater Medical Information Program - United States Marine Corps (TMIP-USMC). He/She will generate reports, monitor daily operations, system performance and backups, ensuring system availability at all times. Other primary duties include: setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software, validating and implementing critical system patches, and! allocating mass storage space. Additional duties include beta! testing TMIP-USMC software and coordinating recommended updates for database development and testing with the EHR Oracle team.
He/She will also serve as the resident expert to assist in providing end-user system training for TMIP-USMC Electronic Health Record (EHR) and assist in developing training plans and installation guides.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must be available for and willing to travel, up to 30% annually and for durations of up to 3 weeks at a time, to train TMIP-USMC medical personnel in the use of the TMIP-USMC system.
Qualifications:EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED and eight (8) years of medical systems experience, including Composite Health Care System (CHCS), Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA), Theater Medical Information Program - United States Marine Corps (TMIP-USMC), Medical Record Retention System (MRRS), may be considered in lieu of the deg! ree requirement.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Candidate must have TMIP-USMC system and related Oracle database experience and must also be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. He/She must be able to work well in a dynamic, team environment and be able to complete complex assignments independently with little guidance. When on travel, he/she must also be able and willing to complete job requirements in an austere work environment.
DESIRED SKILLS:
Previous experience engineering, development, or test and evaluation of Navy or USMC C4I systems or related C4ISR systems is also a plus.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
An active, transferable DoD Secret (or higher) clearance is required. Candidate selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to maintain access to classified information and/or facilities.
