Assures the safe and appropriate use of drugs through the provision of drug information, drug therapy monitoring, distributive and supervisory pharmacy services within the fram! ework of hospital and pharmacy policy, standard practices, and state and federal laws.

Requirements:
Education: Graduate of an ACPE Accredited College of Pharmacy
Experience: Internship Required, ASHP Accredited Residency and/or Hospital Pharmacy Experience Preferred
Number and Type of Employees Supervised: 0-4 Technicians
Licensure, Registry or Certification Required: S. C. Registered Pharmacist License
Special Training:
Must have thorough knowledge of medical and pharmacy terminology; possess good mathematical, computer and aseptic technique skills.
Must have problem solving abilities; able to work in team situations; handle urgent, stressful conditions.PHA and departmental mandatory training required annually.!
