This division of the plant is primarily assembly and requires a good â€" hands-on Quality Engineer from metal assembly manufacturing. The ability to assist in multiple areas and “wear multiple hats†is necessary.
The qualified individual will provide feedback through data analysi! s on problem areas or trends which need additional attention. !
Performs all quality related duties to support manufacturing to include print review, Quality assurance plans, First Articles, Capability Studies, Data Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, Preventive and Corrective Action Analysis
Implement Quality Systems
Root Cause Analysis and corrective action implementations for product
Prepare monthly quality performance metrics
Report performance metrics for product, analyze trends, and organize improvement teams
Responsible for internal and external corrective action execution and resolution of customer complaint issues

Minimum 5 years experience in an assembly manufacturing facility
Process Flow charts
Ability to measure parts using tools such as calipers, micrometers, microhites, and various gauges
Proficient with GD&T (geometric design and tolerancing)
Proficient with Auto CAD, Pro E or equivalent is a plus
Will consider strong candidates without degree
