We are currently looking for a part-time
Merchandiser
to join our innovative, growing company.
The Merchandiser will be primarily responsible for setting product to planograms; ensuring POP placement; servicing interactives such as troubleshooting/repairing and cleaning; collecting and reporting detailed inventory data; and moving product from the stock room to the sales floor. You will also work closely with retail associates and managers informing them of new product launches, promotions, and procedures. Your ability to work independently, build relationships and maintain strong partnerships with store personnel is vital in achieving the goals of this program.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will wor! k with minimal supervision and will be responsible for perform! ing on-going retail merchandising and product awareness services in order to influence consumers and maximize sales of video game products in one of the largest retailers. Individuals will be required to make multiple store visits averaging 8-20 hours per week (total weekly hours will fluctuate significantly). Extra projects or coverage requirements will create minimal extra hours during peak/holiday seasons.
The Merchandiser will:
Complete multiple store visits averaging 8-20 hrs./wk
Complete Monday midnight visits(15 to 20 per year) to place new release product and/or assist stores with promotional activity
Completes all administrative duties in accordance with Mosaic client instructions
Acts as strategic client advisor for store management to enhance retailer relationships
Have the availability to work Monday through Friday as needed, with a start-time as early as 6AM (no later than 8AM) with required completion by ! 4PM
Be available EVERY Tuesday - Up to 8 hrs. may be required
Be available to work EVERY Thursday AND/OR Friday
Please note: Total weekly hours will fluctuate significantly. Though Monday through Friday availability is needed, most work will be completed on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
Holiday / Peak Season / Special Project Work Schedule:
Same as regular schedule but after Thanksgiving, some weekend work will be required along with minimal extra weekly hours - The day after Thanksgiving and the day after Christmas will be required
Regular hours resume in January with the exception of on-going special projects that also include minimal extra weekly hours
Complete periodical Sunday visits to place new release product and/or assist stores with promotional activity
Qualifications
Comfortable working with minimal supervision
Capable of setting product to planograms, performing re! sets, POP placement, inventory counts, and moving product from stock ro! om to sales floor
Ability to build relationships with store personnel in order to achieve the goals of this program
Basic comfort level and working knowledge with setting up electronic components such as video game systems, monitors and DVD players, highly preferred
Extremely detail-oriented - must have ability to distinguish similar looking product by game titles and box cover designs
Experience influencing shelf and display allocation decisions by store management
24-hour daily access to an IBM compatible computer with an operating system of Windows 2000 or newer, along with internet connectivity, a printer, email, and Internet Explorer (version 6.0 or newer)
Access to a high speed internet connection OR wireless network for optimal transfer of data on company issued hand-held device (Highly preferred but not required)
