Duties/Responsibilities:
Accountable for tracking all material shortages for OFO SWBD/PZ4 parts, including but no! t limited to Internal fabricated parts, purchased parts and painted parts. Controlling the Shortage’s database with a minimum amount of records and all information accurate. To support assembly lines on potential alternatives of substitution of parts to avoid disservices. The qualified individual will also be required to perform Supply Associate duties and responsibilities along with the additional duties detailed in this job description.

The person hired will assist in the continued development of a goal-oriented, safe, productive and quality-conscious work environment in the Supply Chain organization. Other responsibilities include ensuring the continuous flow of materials by delivering or selecting parts and supplies. This individual will plan, direct, and organize the work of assigned groups by maintaining output and production in accordance with customer service goals, by ensuring the flow of materials to prevent slow down in the assembly areas

R! equirements:
The requirements are as follows: (! 1) Minimum three years experience in material handling function, (2) able to read and understand blueprints and bills of material, (3) computer proficient and literate in all required systems, (4) forklift certified, (5) available for daily and weekend overtime assignments.

SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS:

Solid area product and process knowledge

§

Good PC user skills

§

Familiarity with key tools / systems related to the group /! area (example; type “B” report, fas, Order Editor, OFO tracking system, AMAPS, Walkouts, ECN’s etc. )

§

Clear understanding of SIM principles

§

Flexible and resourceful problem solver

§

Good communicator with supervisor, associates and other groups as required

§

Materials knowledge of OFO / KanBan

§

Ability to assist and fill in for other associates as required

§

Understanding and dedication of 5S principles

§

Demonstrated and dedicated quality history

§

Demonstrated ability to interpret and explain drawings and other documentation related to the group.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent education. .

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Previous experience in materials.
