Benefitfocus is seeking a Web Developer for our Corporate website and associated web properties. We are looking for an individual who has 3-5 years experience developing high-impact websites and web experiences for that support our marketing efforts. The Web Developer will design, code and modify applications and features for our corporate website as well as content delivered across mobile devices.
The Major responsibilities are to:
Maintain and improve existing codebase
Develop, test, implement and maintain new web experiences
Assist with the setup and maintenance! of servers
The individual should have solid organiza! tion skills with a strong attention to detail. In addition to website development and maintenance, candidates should have experience working with marketing and creative team members to design, develop and deliver high-impact web experiences. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment at times requiring schedule flexibility.
Required Experience:We are considering individuals with the following skills:
2-4 years experience coding with either Python, Django, Drupal, Web content management systems, mySQL, Apache, HTML5, Javascript, jQuery, and/or CSS
Developing for mobile devices/responsive layouts
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, or other technical degree (or several years of pertinent experience with CMS products)
