Responsible for developing and managing relationships with carriers and customers to ensure customers goals and requirements are met. Will be responsible for growing revenue, approving spot requests and obtaining rat! e agreements. Additional responsibilities include soliciting truck load and volume shipments, tracking shipments and resolving discrepancies and coordinating pickup and delivery schedules. Negotiates rates for service. Maintains customer relations and communicates with customers to solicit business and provide solutions to problems.
Employees are accountable to management and each other to ensure every task is done safely in accordance with Management Systems or business unit procedures with the objective of continuously improving our processes.
