Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and demonstrated experience in data modeling. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience with relational database (preferably with Oracle! ), tables, views, functions, storied procedures, packages etc.! Skills in SQL and PL/ SQL programming. Extensive knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing concepts. Good understanding of Oracle Data Warehouse Builder or other ETL tools. Knowledge of Business Intelligence reporting tool (Cognos,Framework Manager and other Cognos modeling tools) and preferred knowledge of Ellucian’s Banner ERP and ODS . Knowledge and understanding of the data needs of Higher Education.
Additional Comments Regarding Position
Some occasional travel for professional development, conferences and meetings may be required. Minimal after hours support required.

Maps fields and/or tables from multiple sources into College data repositories. Works from sources such as the Banner transaction data base, ODS , legacy ERP file systems, and data bases of separate College data bases associated with individual business applications. Works with Cognos Framework Manager and Cognos BI tools.
