The full-time Hotline Consultant works in an inbound customer service call center environment. Hotline Consultants provide service to Notaries across the country and are educated in Notary law from every state. They are sociable individuals, with a knack for providing professional and clear answers to customer requests, able to decipher the customer question, and enjoy working in a friendly, collaborative, and fast-paced environment. This position requires the following availability: M - F, 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM (Pacific Time) + 1 Sat per month.
This full-time position is open to current notaries located in the following states only: AL, AZ, CA, CT, FL, GA, KY, LA, MT, NC, NJ, NM, NV, SC, TX, VA. The Notary Hotline department hours are Monday - Friday, 5:00 am - 6:30 pm and Saturdays, 5:00 am - 5:00 pm, PST.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

- Answer a high volume of telephone inquiries regarding state laws and notarial professional practices.
- Provide accurate verbal and written responses to customer inquiries via telephone and email.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Comply and adhere to the NNA’s Company ethics and security policies.
- Maintain positive relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Maintain a working knowledge of Notary professional practices and state laws for all states.
- Apply Notary professional practices and state laws to various notarial functions.
- Contribute to team projects when assigned and perform other administrative duties as needed.
- Contribute to a positive working environment, making this the Best Job Ever for self and others.
WHAT’S REQUIRED
- Diploma or equivalent required
- Current Notary Public commission in the state in which you reside required
- 1 -2 years of administrative experience
- Reliable at-home internet connection and an uninterrupted environment to work from home
- Basic knowledge of Notary professional practices and state laws
- Ability to resolve customer inquiries in a professional manner
- Flexibility for possible shift changes and Saturday shifts.
- Proficiency in MS Office Outlook, Excel and Word as well the ability to learn related software programs used for NNA business
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and the ability to navigate through various software systems simultaneously
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

SALARY RANGE:
- $19.50 - $20.00 per hour
