DAY IN THE LIFE
The Patient Care Coordinator's primary responsibility is to be available to answer patients' questions and address their concerns that involve our product and service offerings. You will effectively communicate updates and key information over the phone and work with internal departments and leadership to quickly respond to patients.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Answer patient, caregiver, or healthcare provider questions about general matters, such as pharmacy operating hours, contact information, eligibility and coverage, benefit-related issues, prescriber information, refill statuses, and other prescription/insurance information.
- Obtain patient information during the onboarding process
- Verify and update patient demographic information in our internal systems
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's a plus)
- Minimum of 3 years of healthcare experience OR 4 years of supervisory customer service experience in a retail setting
- Pharmacy experience preferred but not required
- Computer literacy w/ typing speed of at least 40 WPM
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Must be an effective written and verbal communicator in English
