We are seeking a service-focused Customer Support Expert to support our Global 500 client, SONY(r), and their PRO Support Division that spans a variety of users of innovative lenses, cameras, professional videography equipment, camcorders, and digital imaging technology. The Camera & Video Customer Support Expert will provide a variety of services for our Sony customers and user accounts by offering subject matter knowledge in the areas of inquiries, equipment maintenance/servicing, repair status and costs, processing approvals, no fault troubleshooting, accessory requests, etc.

This role will be on-site at Sony's flagship Los Angeles repair center facility and will collaborate closely with the repair group to provide quick access to product engineering teams for timely and accurate communication for our customers.
SCHEDULE & LOCATION:
- 40 hours per week
- Monday - Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm
- Sony Digital Media Production Center at 2706 Media Center Dr in Los Angeles

DUTIES:
- Serves as a liaison between the customer and various departments
- Resolve customer requests, questions, and complaints in a timely manner
- Handle new account inquiries and forward to the appropriate department(s)
- Maintain records, prepare reports and perform assignments and related clerical duties
- Share ideas and suggestions to improve the Customer Service department
- Utilize the CRM and Process Management information systems to analyze situations
- Follow the company's scripting and training documentation to handle inquiries and troubleshooting
- Attend training provided by client to enhance knowledge base and repair processes
- Continually learn company's processes and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or general education degree
- Photography, Videography, Digital Imaging, and/or Technical Photographic Equipment knowledge
- Multi-task oriented with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Excellent customer service skills inclusive of handling situations in a professional manner
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrate basic proficiency in MS Office suite
- Ability to work overtime hours only as needed/requested
- Knowledge of Salesforce and SAP preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to use a computer, phone, and other standard office equipment
- Must be mobile and able to sit and/or stand for four (4) hours or more
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
