Ensures providing exceptional customer service is the top priority of every interaction.
Coordinates, plans and schedules training and ensures associates are completing training modules in a timely manner.
Escalates all issues involving non-compliance to manager.
Provides feedback to manager via feedback form in order to give input on annual evaluations and succession planning.
Participates in ongoing development conversations.
Coordinates associates' assignments, distributes workload on a daily basis, and follows up on tasks to ensure completion.
Provides continuous evaluation of processes and procedures, suggests methods to improve store operations, efficiency and service to both internal and external customers, and partners with manager on implementation strategy for improvements.
Drives efforts of team to complete tasks as assigned by manager.
Conveys messages to associates in accordance with manager's direction.
Assists manager with daily planning of operational tasks assigned to the store to include development, analysis and implementation of sales, staffing, training, scheduling, and associate appreciation programs.
Oversees members of a team working on special or ongoing projects that are important to the department/process improvement.
Executes a plan to ensure associates are compliant with established sales, safety and security practices and procedures in conjunction with local, state, and federal regulations.
Plans and ensures proper execution of company merchandising standards.
Assists with departmental zoning by providing support, guidance and overseeing the recovery process.
Notifies manager of all associate relations issues, as well as all issues that have the potential to impact the department or store.
Actively participates in floor walks with management.
Handles lead on-duty responsibilities as assigned.
Assists manager with allocation of payroll hours by creating associate schedules based on business needs.
Completes 4473 paperwork and submits it for approval to complete transaction.
Holds limited override authorization.
Duties may change and associates may be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum two years related work experience required.
High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
